    The Financial Services Authority (FSA) has confirmed that it is minded to approve, subject to final consultation, ICAEW’s application to become an accredited body under the Retail Distribution Review. The FSA is conducting a public consultation, which closes on 6 December and will then put forward proposals for final FSA board approval early next year. Subject to this, ICAEW hopes to receive final approval in February 2012.
