Steve holds the fort for Sheffield’s chartered accountants

Steve Knowles, President of SDSCA for the last twelve months, is set for another year in office as he holds the fort following the move of his Deputy President David Campbell (Grant Thornton) overseas as chief executive officer of the firm’s Johannesburg office.

Ian Norris (Sheffield Installations Group) steps up to Deputy President and Chris Hill, a general practice partner at Hawsons, has been nominated as Vice President.

Steve, who runs his own practice Knowles Warwick, was born in Sheffield and attended High Storrs Grammar School and Sheffield Polytechnic, as it then was. He joined Landin Wilcock & Company in 1976 and qualified as a chartered accountant in 1981. He was recently announced as the Sheffield region winner in Connect Yorkshire’s Mentor of the Year Awards for his exceptional levels of support and expertise for local companies.
