The trustees of Swanland Village Hall are looking for a new Treasurer.
We are looking for a volunteer who lives in or near the village to become our treasurer.
Our present Treasurer, John White, who has been a Trustee and Treasurer of Swanland Village Hall since it opened in 2005, has indicated his wish to retire after seven years of looking after the finances of the busy and very successful village hall in Swanland.
The village hall is looking for a person who will be able to provide a continuation of the excellent bookkeeping and accounting support to the Trustees that John White has provided over the years.
The new Treasurer will probably be a Swanland resident but this is not essential. More important is the desire to be of service to the village of Swanland and to be a member of the team of willing volunteers who comprise the Trustee Body of Swanland Village Hall.
As a Chartered Accountant living in or near to Swanland, you are ideally located to carry out this important and rewarding role. I ask you to consider volunteering for the job!
If you are interested in volunteering or would like to find out more about the job, please contact the Chairman of the Trustees, Godfrey Burley on +44 (0)1482 634691, +44 (0)7831 354687 or gb@bgburley.demon.co.uk.
