David Chitty is Technical Partner at Chantrey Vellacott DFK. Having qualified as a Chartered Accountant with an international practice he joined Chantrey Vellacott DFK in 1992. David became a partner in the firm in 1997. David is also a Director of DFK International and Chairman of the association’s International Assurance Services Committee.
David lectures and writes widely on auditing, financial reporting and regulatory matters. He has contributed articles to a range of journals and publications and has published several books on professional matters.
David is involved with the audits of some of Chantrey Vellacott DFK’s largest clients and has experience as an expert witness. David is closely involved with professional affairs. He is a member of the Council of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and is Chairman of the Institute’s Practice Focus.
He was President of the Croydon & District Society of Chartered Accountants from 1999 until 2002.
