Emma Riddell, Acting Head of Finance & Management Faculty

Emma is responsible for faculty services which help members in business perform at their best and develop their careers. Current topics of interest include business performance management, managing change and finance function effectiveness.
Emma qualified with PwC in 2000 and has held various finance positions in the retail and media sectors both in FTSE 100 and SME businesses.

Simon started his career in helping set-up and successfully run a small local business. He then went on to support the turnaround of a larger organisation of £20m turnover by consolidating a number of disparate businesses, having been acquired, then left to fend for themselves. Simon subsequently worked within a number of smaller outsourcing business units within blue-chip companies such as ABB, Accenture, PwC and Hewlett Packard.
He now works for Sutherland Global Services as a Finance Solutions Architect leading the design and implementation of Finance and other back-office solutions focussing on the small / mid-size market place, but also supporting where required larger, global operations. His focus is on ensuring joined up thinking across people, process and technology to ensure speedy achievement and maximised long-term value from his clients’ back-office organisations.
Vikas Saggi, Partner
Bain & Company
Vikas is a partner at Bain with deep expertise in technology and business process outsourcing (ITO/BPO) services. He is a leader in Bain’s Global Capability sourcing efforts, has led a number of engagements helping organisations reduce and optimise costs by outsourcing and off-shoring. Vikas has a history within professional services and has worked for consulting / advisory firms such as McKinsey and Accenture. He has written and published several articles on the growth of ITO/BPO.
