ICAEW Financial Reporting Faculty Roadshow 2012

  • May - June 2012
    Various UK locations

The pace of change in financial reporting remains unabated, both in the UK and internationally. Some very significant decisions are to be taken by the standard setters in the first half of 2012. The roadshow will provide a clear and up-to-date analysis of all the key developments and other topical issues in UK financial reporting, with a focus on practical implications for UK companies and their professional advisors.

Why you should attend

The spring 2012 UK roadshow will focus on today’s key financial reporting issues and those on the near horizon. Participants will benefit from practical help in complex areas of UK financial reporting of current concern; from an overview of recent and forthcoming changes to UK and international accounting requirements; and from up-to-the-minute guidance and commentary on the ASB’s radical reform of the UK’s financial reporting regime.

The faculty will make use of examples and case studies to illustrate possible solutions and good practice in relation to common financial reporting problems dealt with in recent months by the ICAEW’s Technical Enquiry Service and Quality Assurance Department and to highlight financial reporting considerations of particular importance in the current economic environment.
