Town groups

SESCA town groups centre on the major towns in the area

They provide members locally with cost effective CPD, as well as a valuable forum for discussion and networking.

There are currently 3 active town groups:

Guildford Group of Accountants

GGA is the Guildford Group of Accountants. This is a meeting of local Chartered Accountants to discuss matters of mutual interest and to share the benefit of experience with fellow members. Meetings are informal and are organised on a monthly basis with a suggested theme, often with an invited speaker to initiate discussion. Meetings commence at 6.30pm and aim to finish at about 8.00pm – all meetings will be held at The Keep, 29/30 Castle Street, Guildford, GU1 3UW.

Business member forums

Business member breakfast forums in SESCA are running on a quarterly basis in Crawley, Guildford and Maidstone. SESCA regularly invites guest speakers to update business members on topics such as cyber security and airport expansion plans after which discussion continues over breakfast. The aim of these forums is to provide a networking opportunity as well as support for business members within SESCA.

Stephen Atkin is the business member representative in SESCA and is on the SESCA main committee. Stephen is Chief Executive of the Racecourse Association and has volunteered to communicate the needs of business members to the committee and to plan relevant events for the coming year. If you have any thoughts or suggestions for topics at future events or would like to start a forum in another location please let Stephen know, he can be contacted on stephen.atkin@racecourseassociation.co.uk.
