About us

The society serves more than 4,800 members in Bristol, Bath and North-East Somerset, Gloucestershire, Wiltshire (excluding Salisbury), North Somerset and Mendip.

The society’s members come from accountancy practices small and large and from a range of business, public sector and Third Sector interests with the Financial Services sector being particularly strong in Bristol.  The district society is deeply engaged in the development of the local economy and regards the promotion of the profession, especially among students, as a crucial part of its work.

It also acts as a link between the ICAEW in Moorgate Place and members in the district.
