Company registration
All companies must register and file financial statements with the Companies Registry. The Companies Registry website outlines what information is available to the public. Data can be accessed via the Companies Registry's Cyber Search Centre. A charge is made for some company information.
Corporate governance
Asian Corporate Governance Association (ACGA)
A non-profit organisation, whose aim is to improve corporate governance and regulation in Asian countries. Information includes code and rules on company law, accounting standards, regulations and listing rules in Hong Kong.
European Corporate Governance Institute: Index of codes
The ECGI provides a listing of corporate governance codes from Hong Kong, with links to downloadable PDFs and useful organisations. You can also search the codes database by country, title, language and year of publication.
