Previously known as the Investigation and Discipline Board (IDB), a part of the Accountancy Foundation.
The AIDB was a subsidiary board of the Financial Reporting Council and replaced the Joint Disciplinary Scheme operated by ICAEW and ICAS as the new system of regulation also covering ACCA, CIMA & CIPFA.
