Full-text standard
The Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) provides access to the Accounting Standards Codification as an authoritative source for US GAAP. You will need to register or subscribe to gain access.
FASB Accounting Standards Updates are released periodically and are available in PDF format.
Legacy standards
The FASB Accounting Standards Codification was launched in July 2009 and it superseded all pre-existing non-Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) accounting standards. See our pages on legacy standards for further resources:
