UK and Irish Dividend and Interest Record
The UK and Irish Dividend and Interest Record from Interactive Data is the most comprehensive record of all dividend and interest announcements made during the tax year for securities listed on the London Stock Exchange (including AIM) and the Irish Stock Exchange.
Each annual volume is broken down into:-
- UK and Irish listed securities 1982/83-
- Authorised unit trusts and Open ended Investment companies
The ICAEW Library & Information Service holds annual volumes from 1982/83 to the current tax year, with a loose-leaf updating service that adds the latest dividends, unit trust distributions, and British Government stocks on a quarterly basis.
Dividend record 1967/68-1981/82
Extel Statistical Services Ltd published the annual volume Dividend Record prior to 1982/83. The ICAEW Library & Information Service holds the complete set from 1967/68 to 1981/82 in store.
Alternative sources
Stubbs Securities Taxation/Securities Taxation Service
An alternative source for dividends was first published in 1975 with the title of 'Stubbs securities taxation- UK dividends and share issues- income tax service' as part of Stubbs taxation service. The title has been published over the years by Stubbs, Dun & Bradstreet, and Financial Times - it is now published by Interactive Data as the Securities Taxation Service. Further information on this title can be found on the Interactive Data website.
The UK Dividend and Share Issues volume is broken down into equity dividends, unit trust distributions, preference dividends, fixed interest payments, and share issues.

London Stock Exchange Daily Official List
The London Stock Exchange Daily Official List (DOL), published by Interactive Data, maintains a column marked 'Pay' in the pages covering Listed Companies which indicates the date on which the most recently announced dividend was/will be paid.
The ICAEW Library holds the Daily Official List (DOL) from 1967 through to 31st December 2003.
London Stock Exchange Weekly Official Intelligence
The London Stock Exchange Weekly Official Intelligence, published by Interactive Data lists dividends as they are announced and produces an Ex dividend list for the coming week (date, currency and whether the dividend is an interim or final). The Weekly Official Intelligence also contains listings of Australian dividends taken from the Sydney and/or Melbourne Stock Exchange dividend statistics.

Online sources
Many companies have special investor information or financial information segments to their site where you can locate dividends.
Directories of companies on the internet such as Company Annual Reports Online (UK) are a good starting point for locating companies and the financial information held on their sites.
