The size and value of the UK turnaround market and insolvency sector has been researched by the Association of Business Recovery Professionals (R3). The full report The value of the insolvency industry was published in September 2008 and is available from the Insolvency industry section of the R3 website.

Association of Business Recovery Professionals
The website provides a selection of resources for members and the public, which include a directory of practitioners complete with search function, surveys on personal and company insolvency and creditors' guides.

Belfast Gazette
Official Newspaper of Record for Northern Ireland, giving notices on regulatory and legal information. Other editions of the Gazette cover Edinburgh and London.

Disqualified Directors Search
Database from the Insolvency Service to show the reasons for the disqualification of company directors. Search by director's name, company name or region. More information about the reasons for each case are available including the period of disqualification and the details of the director's misconduct.

Edinburgh Gazette
Official Newspaper of Record for Scotland, giving notices on regulatory and legal information. Other editions of the Gazette cover London and Belfast.

The Insolvency Service
The government body deals with insolvency issues in England and Wales. The site maintains a range of resources, including Official Receivers addresses, legislative information, current and historical statistics and guidance notes.

Institute for Turnaround (IFT)
Professional body that recruits, monitors and regulates turnaround practitioners. Formerly known as the Society of Turnaround Professionals (STP).

London Gazette
Official Newspaper of Record for England, giving notices on regulatory and legal information. Other editions of the Gazette cover Edinburgh and Belfast.

NARA: The Association of Property and Fixed Charge Receivers
Organisation with a multi-disciplinary membership representing practitioners within the field.

Turnaround Finance Group
The site includes a directory of rapid finance providers, details of member companies, and a comprehensive Turnaround Finance Guideline.

International

ABI World
Website of the American Bankruptcy Institute, with a range of information services on insolvency issues around the world. Includes the quarterly bankruptcy statistics fro the US.

Insolvency and Trustee Service Australia
Government agency responsible for the administration and regulation of the personal insolvency system in Australia.

Insolvency Practitioners Association of Australia
Information on locating Australian insolvency professionals. The site also contains guidelines, a member- only library of insolvency resources and general information on insolvency.

International Federation of Insolvency Professionals (INSOL)
A searchable membership database is provided on the site and an archive of the newsletter INSOL WORLD is also available.

International Insolvency Review
Journal published three times a year aimed at insolvency lawyers, accountants and academics.
