A key resource for historical comparisons of tax rates. The site includes easy-to-use tables, detailing the main tax rates and thresholds for the current tax year, cross referenced with the historic rates. The historic rates are also listed separately, and include:

Archived historic tax rate data from the Inland Revenue and HMRC, including:

Valuation Office Agency
Executive agency of HMRC with responsibility for business rates. The VOA holds information on its website about procedures, appeals, and a search facility to check the rateable value for business properties by postcode.

Online tool provided by KPMG that allows users to compare corporate and indirect taxes across multiple countries for any given range of years from 2005. A corporate tax rates table and indirect tax rates table are also available.
