Through our involvement with the Global Accounting Alliance (GAA), ICAEW members in South Africa can access a range of member services from the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA). These include CPD and networking events at SAICA member rates. ICAEW members can also receive news and information by subscribing to their e-mail newsletters.
If you are a qualified member of another professional body, you could be eligible to join the ICAEW. We offer various routes to membership, including reciprocal agreements, advanced credit arrangements, common content arrangements and our Pathways to Membership programme.
ICAEW has a network of contact members around the world. Our Contact Members in Africa are your points of contact for enquiries and act as ambassadors in promoting ICAEW's strategy and brand within your country.
Volunteers in Africa host a variety of social and educational events for members. They include talks by prominent local business people, accounting updates, and social drinks. The events attract a friendly crowd and they are often free of charge. They’re a great way to meet other Chartered Accountants and expand your network of contacts in the area. New volunteers will be warmly welcomed!
To ensure you receive invitations to social events, please opt in to ‘Regional updates’ via your communication preferences. Updates on events which cover finance or business topics will depend on your other communication choices.
