Beds, Bucks and Herts Society of Chartered Accountants (BBH)

We organise events for members, ranging from our highly successful and comprehensive programme of continuing professional development (CPD) courses to annual dinners, social events and discussion groups. We also represent the interests of chartered accountants in the district to the wider business community.

Beds Bucks and Herts discussion groups

BBH currently run three evening discussion groups where members can discuss topical issues, led by guest speakers who are experts in their fields.

Each group meets approximately five times a year. Attendance is free for all ICAEW members, apart from the General Practitioners' Group where a meal is provided and charged at a nominal cost.

Information on meetings is posted on the website once available. Search our events database for details and booking forms for individual meetings.

About us

Beds, Bucks & Herts started out in 1959 as a branch of the London and District Society.  In 1969 the Beds, Bucks & Herts District Society held its first AGM as it had become a separate society in its own right.  The society has over 8000 members and runs a significant programme of about 35 continuing professional development  (CPD) courses each year supplemented by student events.  In addition to the CPD courses the society runs a number of social events and discussion groups and activities for specific groups such as retired members and returners to work.
