The Society has two very active discussion groups and welcomes new members to their meetings.
The Croydon Tax Discussion Group meets every first Thursday of the month, 19:00 for 19:30 until 21:00, with the exception of July and August.
The Croydon Practitioner Group meets every last Thursday of the month, 19:00 for 19:30 until 21:00, with the exception of January, August & December.

The society was formed in 1985 and serves more than 2,000 members. The Society's area covers parts of the County of Greater London, including The London Borough of Croydon; the London Borough of Sutton, the Mitcham area of the London Borough of Merton, the Streatham, Norbury, South Norwood and West Norwood area of the Inner London Borough of Lambeth. To the south, the Society covers part of the County of Surrey, including the towns of Redhill, Reigate, and Caterham and villages of Banstead, Coulsdon, Carshalton, Burgh Heath, Kingswood, Tadworth, Walton on the Hill, Bletchingley, Godstone, Kenley, Warlingham, Woldingham, Whyteleafe, Oxted and Limpsfield.
The society’s members come from accountancy practices small and large and from a range of business, public sector and third sector interests.
The district society is deeply engaged in the development of the local economy and regards the promotion of the profession – especially among students – as a crucial part of its work.
It also acts as a link between the ICAEW in Moorgate Place and members in the district.
