- East Anglian Branch Societies

EASCA represents members over a very wide geographical area, so we organise CPD and social events in all three of Norfolk & Norwich, Ipswich & Colchester, and Cambridge & District.
Representatives from each of these branch areas sit on the Courses and Communications (C&C) committee and if you have any particular comments relating to the area in which you live or work, please do contact your branch representative by emailing eastangliansca@icaew.com
- The representative for the Cambridge Branch (CSCA) is Jeannette Hume of BDO LLP in Cambridge.
- The representative for the Ipswich and Colchester Branch (I&CSCA) is Bob Holmes from Strategic Planning Solutions in Colchester.
- The representative for the Norfolk and Norwich Branch (N&NSCA) is Tim Howes from Kaplan Financial in Norwich.
EASCA's C&C committee also has local reps covering key industry areas, accountancy issues and demographic groups. If you would like any information on who they are, or how you might get involved, please contact the EASCA office in the first instance.
- EASCA young professionals and students

- Working together with HMRC
-
Working Together is a forum for raising your concerns with HMRC and, over the last year, has been the most effective way to get concerns across.
There are a number of Working Together committees throughout our region: Beds/Herts area, Huntingdon, Ipswich, Norwich, Milton Keynes and Southend. We make the minutes of these meetings available as downloadable files on our website as and when appropriate.
Please see the HMRC Website/Tax Agents and Advisers where members can find details of any recent updates/alerts.

- About us

The East Anglian Society of Chartered Accountants (EASCA) was founded in 1934. The Society celebrated its Diamond Jubilee in 1994. It covers the counties of Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire excluding the district of Peterborough and the Districts of Braintree, Colchester, Tendering and Uttlesford in the County of Essex, giving it one of the largest areas of any district society. The society runs a programme of continuing professional development courses (CPD) and a number of social events such as quizzes which offer networking opportunities as well as fun.
There is also a programme of events for students in the area.
