The ICAEW Malaysia regional office is based in Kuala Lumpur.
The region offers a wide range of activities to meet the needs and interests of our members. We play a key role in raising the profile of the Institute in the region through building relationships with key stakeholders and by ensuring that members’ views are promoted effectively on accountancy and business issues.
The office supports ICAEW’s wider international strategy to ensure the highest standards within the accountancy profession, and provide support to our members and students across the region.
- Independent Directors Register

The Independent Directors Register is a database of ICAEW members who are available to undertake independent director and other non-executive roles in companies, voluntary organizations and the not-for-profit sector. Chartered Accountants are ideal candidates for the role of the Independent Director as they have worked in senior level posts and are bound by professional and ethical standards.
