Northern Society of Chartered Accountants

We organise a range of services for members including a highly successful series of CPD courses as well as an annual dinner, social events and discussion groups. We also represent the interests of chartered in accountants in the district to the wider business community.

North East Accountancy Awards 2012

The sixth North East Accountancy Awards will recognise excellence within the fields of accounting and finance and present an opportunity for organisations and individuals to gain the prestige of being voted the leader in their sector. The Awards are open to nominations from members and students of recognised professional bodies including AAT, ACCA, CIPFA, CIOT and ICAEW.

Incorporating the Northern Society of Chartered Accountants, this site brings you up to date information and news about what is happening in your region.

The current priorities of the Northern region include strengthening connections with local bodies: One North East, the CBI, the Institute of Directors and Business Links. Speaking with local firms to encourage take up of Chartered student training now that it is a cost-attractive option.
