All accountants are affected by IT and need to understand the implications for their practices and their clients. This section provides links to information, guidance, events, IT Faculty expertise, the new Excel community and the IT Counts online community on all matters IT related.
IT Faculty
The IT Faculty is here to help. We provide information, news and guidance about everything from virus and data protection, to choosing software, ISPs and web hosts. We can help you get the most from the IT you already have, and offer advice about what, where and when you may want to upgrade or expand.
Excel
Excel is one of the most popular end-user tools in the accountant’s portfolio. Access information, tips, training, assessment and the new Excel Community, which provides a 'one-stop shop' for accountants who want to use Excel better and understand and minimise spreadsheet risk.

Other IT Faculty publications
These are written for business people not “techies” and include A Guide to Cloud Computing, A Guide to e–Auditing and Web 2.0 – the Business Perspective. These are available for purchase from the online shop.
