AA Breakdown cover

*Discount level is dependant upon level of cover purchased. Maximum discount available is 30% when purchasing either Single Membership with Roadside Assistance + two additional levels of cover; Joint Membership with Roadside Assistance + one additional level of cover; Family Membership with Roadside Assistance.

This offer is only available to ICAEW members and only by calling the number given, quoting the stated reference and paying annually by direct debit under a recurring transaction arrangement. The enrolment offer is available to new members for their first 12 months of Membership only. The renewal offer is available to ICAEW members who are existing AA Members (or who join under the enrolment offer) and will be available at each renewal date until they cease to be ICAEW members or the withdrawal of this scheme. This offer is not available in conjunction with any other offer or discount. This offer does not apply to Breakdown Repair Cover or any other AA products or services. Terms and conditions:

Yellow Pages Directory and Yell.com Platinum - advert terms & conditions

Payment

1. Prices are subject to VAT at the rate applicable to the tax point.
2. The price for an entry within the Yellow Pages Directory advertisement is for the directory area as detailed on the advertisers order form and will appear from the date the directory is published.
3. The price for a Yell.com Platinum advert covers a period of 12 months from the date the advertisers entry goes live on Yell.com.
4. Payment is due with the order form and any orders received without the correct payment will not be eligible for inclusion.
5. Cheques to be made payable to ‘Chartac’ and send to the address detailed on the order form.

Liability

1. The advertiser acknowledges that in placing the advertisement The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales (ICAEW) and its media agency (DAA) is acting only as the agent of the advertiser.
2. If the ICAEW or its media agency DAA should be responsible for any error or omission in respect of the placing of the advertisement or its contents, any liability of the ICAEW or its media agency (DAA), therefore shall be limited to and not exceed the total charges paid by you for the service that is the subject of the claim.
3. If the ICAEW or its media agency make an error in, or omission of or from an Advertisement (provided that such error or omission does not arise as a result of a failure by you to comply with your obligations under this agreement), ICAEW or its media agency (DAA), will correct this as soon as reasonably practicable upon receipt of written notification and without charge to you.

Period of agreement

This agreement shall come into effect immediately and be binding on the parties hereto until one year after the date of publication.

Withdrawal or amendment of advertisement

ICAEW reserves the right:

1. To withdraw or not proceed with a Yellow Pages Directory advertisement or a Yell.com Advertisement in the event that an insufficient number of member firms agree to participate or if Yell/Yellow Pages change the pricing resulting in it being commercially or economically unviable for ICAEW to proceed with the advertisement on behalf of the member.
2. To amend any individual entry in the event that insufficient space is available in the Yellow Pages Directory advertisement for which the entry is requested.
3. Vary slightly the publication dates as they are sensitive to the publishers printing programmes.
4. To inform advertisers of any action taken by the ICAEW under (1) or (2) above.

Rejection of order

The ICAEW reserves the right to reject or withdraw an order from an advertiser (or acting agent) in the following circumstances:

1. If the advertiser is not currently entitled to associate themselves with ICAEW as a firm permitted to use the description ‘Chartered Accountants’.
2. If payment has not been received with order.
3. If the advertiser is personally or through a Limited entity subject to insolvency proceedings.
4. Where a Yellow Pages Directory advertisement is fully subscribed.
5. Where a Yellow Pages Directory advertisement is undersubscribed making it uneconomical for ICAEW to place the advert.
6. Where a firm changes its constitution, has not informed ICAEW and there is insufficient time to verify its status before the directory is published.
7. If an order is received after the return date on the order form.

Order Cancellation:

1. Yellow Pages Directory - If a cancellation is received later than two months before the publication date of the Directory (as detailed on www.icaew.com/yell), the advertiser will not receive a refund.
2. Yell.com Platinum - A refund will only be given where the cancellation request is received within one week of ICAEW's receipt of the advertisers initial order.
3. All cancellations to be notified to ICAEW in writing on letter headed paper. These can be emailed to memberoffers@icaew.com

Branding

Only those member firms who have registered with ICAEW as firm of chartered accountants will be permitted to use the Member Firm logo on the Yell.com Platinum advert
