Authorised training employers

All authorised training employers (ATEs) must comply with ICAEW universal training standards to ensure consistency of support and training to ACA students across the world.

  • ATEsTo train ACA students, your organisation needs to be an authorised training employer.
  • ACA trainingThere are four essential elements of the ACA: exams, TWE, IPD and STE.
  • Employer online accessAccess IPD sign off, STE sign off, ACA trainee records and exam results.
  • ACA training agreementsA student must complete an ACA training agreement with an ATE.
  • Roles and responsibilitiesRoles and responsibilities of employers training ACA students.
  • ICAEW employer supportAs an ATE, ICAEW provides support to you, your organisation and students.
