Register your organisation

This is where you register your office or organisation as an authorised training employer (ATE) with us. This must be the location where your ACA student(s) is based and where the responsible individual (qualified person responsible for training or QPRT) is based.

Registration of your organisation can be done as part of the authorisation visit. To arrange an authorisation visit, contact training@icaew.com or call +44 (0)1908 248 038.

Register a group of offices

Training organisations with more than one office can be structured as a training office group (TOG). This is a group of offices that operate as one business unit and adhere to common training policies and working practices. Registering as a TOG could help your students to gain a wider variety of work experience during their training.

The training office group (TOG) must nominate one office to be the principal office - the 'head' office for training purposes. The main responsible individual or qualified person responsible for training (QPRT) should be based at this office. All other offices in the group, known as subsidiary offices, must nominate a person responsible for training (PRT).
