As an ACA student, you automatically join your local ICAEW student society or student network free of charge. They are run by students for students. Regardless of the size of the organisation that you work for, it is up to you how you choose to utilise your society or network.
Get involved
Your local society or network is actively organising events and activities - here are just some of the reasons to get involved
- an ideal opportunity to meet people who are also studying for the ACA from a wide range of industries and organisations - nationally and internationally
- develop leadership and communication skills through skill-based seminars such as CV writing, assertiveness, body language and negotiating for success
- further your career through seminars and presentations - topics include 'working in business' and 'working abroad'
- join in with ACA exam revision sessions
- attend a wide range of social events from football tournaments and pub quiz nights through to new member parties and annual ball and dinners

You are automatically registered to the society or network nearest to your correspondence address. If you move home, don't forget to update your contact details.

ICAEW Student Council (ISC) is made up of representatives from student societies and networks around the world.
