CFAB - Credit for prior learning (CPL)

Credits for prior learning, or exemptions, are available to individuals who hold relevant qualifications. With credits, it may be possible for you to complete CFAB in less than one year depending on your existing commitments and your chosen method of study.

The Accounting module is mandatory for most students. Credit for the Accounting module is only available to AAT qualified students who have passed the ACA Financial Accounting Top-Up assessment or university graduates who have passed the ACA Financial Accounting module.

Applying for credit for prior learning

Once you have established whether or not you are eligible for CPL you will need to apply online. There is a non refundable cost of £65 (including local taxes) for each subject you apply for.
