The Women in Finance Network was launched by the Finance and Management faculty in September 2006. Its aim is to share experiences and to help members with personal development.
To achieve this, a steering group that consists of volunteer members, organises a number of networking events throughout the year.
For any enquiries about the network, please contact Caroline Wigham on caroline.wigham@icaew.com or +44 (0) 207 920 8508.
Current programme – Taking control of your career
Events take place in the evening (registration from 5.30pm) at Chartered Accountants’ Hall, London. There is the opportunity to network with your peers either side of a one hour presentation by an expert speaker.
The theme for 2012 is ‘taking control of your career.’ Our first speaker will provide ways to look at your career objectively and to identify effective career strategies. Future topics may include: building a CV based on your skills, head hunters event, and interview techniques. Keep an eye on this page for more details. The dates for your diary are: 29 March, 26 June, 19 September and 27 November 2012.
