2012 Budget - changes to help smaller/mid-sized businesses

The 2012 Budget has updated the details of schemes announced in the Autumn Statement as well as introducing some further measures to help smaller businesses.     The Institute of Credit Management (ICM) has launched a new toolkit for collections as part of its online services (icmOS), which includes template letters and a series of interactive tools covering the major areas of credit risk assessment and collections techniques.

    The ICAEW is working with UK trade and investment (UKTI) and Uk export finance (formerly ECGD) to promote the benefits of exporting to its members working in smaller businesses and advising them.
