David is an experienced corporate financier. Formerly with PwC, he has advised on numerous corporate finance transactions, from smaller management buyouts to large capital markets transactions, as well as infrastructure projects and complex outsourcing and procurement contracts. Under David’s leadership the faculty has grown to include over 7,000 corporate finance professionals in more than 80 member organisations. The faculty is now widely regarded as “the voice of corporate finance”.
David also leads ICAEWs public policy engagement on increasing the variety and quality of funding available for growing businesses and on the EU Capital Markets Union. In the UK he initiated and led a taskforce of nineteen of the country’s leading business organisations and British Business Bank. The highly acclaimed Business Finance Guide published by the group has now been distributed to over three quarters of a million businesses. David also led a high profile initiative with HM Government together with London Stock Exchange, the Takeover Panel, AFME and other organisations on Cyber Security in Corporate Finance.
He holds a BSc (Jt Hons.) from the University of Durham, an MBA with distinction from the University of Bath and the ICAEW/CISI Corporate Finance qualification.

Katerina joined in October 2006 as Manager, Capital Markets Policy to help develop thought leadership in corporate finance technical and regulatory issues, to engage with and understand the needs of practitioners and to prepare best practice guidance.
Katerina has most recently worked as a freelance business writer/consultant. Key projects have included work for Thomson Group (Consult Gee), Wolterskluwer and the ICAEW’s Audit and Assurance Faculty.
Katerina qualified as an ACA with Touche Ross & Co, London in 1994.

Shaun develops stakeholder and member communications for the Corporate Finance Faculty to support ICAEW's public policy and advisory work, particularly in the areas of ‘access to finance’, growing businesses and venture capital.
He devised, researched and co-authored Creative Industries – Routes to Finance.
Shaun previously worked in corporate finance research at BDO in London and was deputy editor of Real Deals, the international private equity and venture capital magazine.

Lorraine is responsible for membership information, enquiries, administering Faculty finances, supports the organising of events, and services to members and also drives and implements the marketing activities.
Lorraine previously worked in administration at investment bank Morgan Stanley, before joining the Faculty in 1999.
