ICAEW has developed a series of educational webinars which explore various themes associated with greenhouse gas reporting. These were run in partnership with other organisations such as the Carbon Trust, IEMA (Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment) and CloudApps.
Listen to the recording of the first carbon reporting webinar, hosted in association with CloudApps. In it we explored the business case for carbon reporting and looked at a case study presented by Ross Chester, FCA, CFO of LA Fitness.
The second in our carbon reporting webinar series was chaired by Richard Spencer, Head of Sustainability at ICAEW and hosted by IEMA (the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment). It featured a presentation from Carla Hopkins of Defra on the new regulations, a case study on preparing for carbon reporting by Bekir Andrews of Balfour Beatty, a practitioner perspective on carbon reporting from Paul Holland of KPMG, and Q&A led by Nick Blyth of IEMA.
In the final webinar, Andrew Prosser of Verco Consulting and Becky Fell from Deloitte talked about the new regulations for listed UK companies and shared survey results on the readiness of companies preparing for carbon reporting. They shared their insights and discussed what key steps to take to prepare your organisation for these new reporting requirements.
