Audit 2005

www.audit2005.comprovides practitioners with comprehensive International Standards on Auditing (ISA)-related resources. ISAs are important to practitioners because Auditing Practices Board (APB) has indicated that it will be implementing ISAs in the UK in 2005. All firms will need to make changes and practitioners need to plan for this. ISAs are developed by the International Auditing and Assurance Standards Board and are likely to be cross-border and opted across Europe. The implemenation of ISAs will improve transparency and raise audit quality.

The website, www.audit2005.com, is dedicated to ISA related resources and has been developed jointly by the Audit and Assurance Facutly and CCH.

The International Auditing and Assurance Standards Board (IAASB) developes ISAs. Click here to view their website.
