West London working together group

"Working Together" is a joint initiative between tax professionals and the Inland Revenue to explore and make recommendations about parts of the tax system which do not work well, in an effort to make them work better for the benefit of all concerned.

The agenda is an open one, and proceedings are informal; a central register of live "issues" is maintained, in order to monitor progress, and to permit the different "Working Together" groups to co-ordinate their effort.

The West London group covers an enormous constituency, stretching in a wedge-shape, from Chelsea in the east to Uxbridge in the west. The group meets at approximately 3-monthly intervals, and the meetings are hosted by the Inland Revenue at Charles House, Kensington High Street.

Because of the size and diversity of the territory covered by the West London group, the "Agents' side" members are keen to encourage active participation from as wide a range of tax professionals as possible in the area.
