CHAIRMAN: David Callin FCA

Manx-born David was educated at Douglas High School and the Polytechnic of Wales before joining Callow Matthewman & Co in 1977, qualifying as a chartered accountant in 1981.

Between 1983 and 1989 his career took him to Binder Hamlyn, London, and Price Waterhouse in The Hague, before he returned to the Isle of Man with PKF. After a spell with Price Waterhouse in Douglas, he rejoined Callow Matthewman & Co in 1992.

David, who specialises in audit and general practice, has served on the IOMSCA committee for nine years and is a member of the Audit and Assurance Faculty of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.

Married to Vanessa, with a 15-year-old daughter and son,12, he enjoys music, reading, and walking. David is also a governor of St John’s School.
