Mediation

The Institute’s commercial mediation service is here to help you resolve disputes and avoid litigation in court.

Members can recommend the service to clients who may be in dispute with a third party.

What is mediation?

Mediation is one form of alternative dispute resolution (ADR), that is often adopted by parties to resolve their problems or disputes in confidence.

Our team of qualified mediators (including lawyers, chartered accountants and HR specialists) will work with you to resolve your dispute quickly and amicably.

Why choose mediation?

Mediation is a cost-effective way to resolve disputes outside court, thus avoiding legal fees and litigation that may go on for months or even years. Unlike arbitration or court, with mediation you retain control over the final decision. As mediation is confidential, you can avoid publicity.
