Focus: Emerging Issues

The London Roundtable convened 24 speakers, including 7 speakers from the US who reflected on the findings outlined in the Emerging Issues paper.
Keynote presenters included, among others, The Rt Hon Alistair Darling MP, Secretary of State for Trade and Industry, Sir Christopher Hogg, Chairman of the FRC, Lady Judge, Chairman of the UK Atomic Energy Authority, Charles Niemeier, Board Member of the PCAOB and Ethiopis Tafara, International Affairs Directors of the SEC.

The roundtable was preceded by a dinner at Chartered Accountants’ Hall on the evening of Tuesday 9 January at which The Rt Hon John McFall MP of the Treasury Select Committee and Tim Bush from Hermes UK Focus Funds made keynote presentations.
