Regional Director: Ian Strange

Prior to the ICAEW regionalisation, Ian was Secretary of London Society of Chartered Accountants (LSCA) for three years.

He previously spent 22 years in the Big 4 accountancy firms. Along the way he had various roles in a number of locations – audit trainee at DH&S Southampton; audit manager at DH&S in Blantyre, Malawi; Quality Control Manager at DH&S London.

Ian then moved into HR/Recruitment as Director of International Recruitment – firstly with DH&S London and then, after the merger with Coopers & Lybrand, with C&L London; then Human Resources Manager for C&L in Russia; and finally HR Director for Arthur Andersen in Russia.

Before his career in accountancy, Ian was a Systems Programmer and worked on a number of high profile air traffic control projects.
