Stock research information, including interactive charting, analyst estimates, company financials and live news for the FTSE indices.
FTSE
Includes information on the indices and historic index values.
FTSE100
The Financial Times Stock Exchange 100 is the senior index in the UK, and consists of the largest 100 UK companies by full market value. This index was originally established by the Financial Times, the London Stock Exchange and the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries and uses a base value of 1,000 (for 31 December 1983). Fuller details of the index qualification criteria can be found in the FTSE UK Index Series Rules.

FTSE250
Launched in October 1992, the Financial Times Stock Exchange 250 is the secondary index in the UK, and consists of the next 250 companies (after the FTSE100) ranked by full market value. Fuller details of the index qualification criteria can be found in the FTSE UK Series Ground Rules.

FTSE350
The Financial Times Stock Exchange 350 consists of all the companies in the FTSE100 and FTSE250, and represents the largest 350 companies to meet the FTSE index criteria.
FTSE AIM
The Alternative Investment Market (AIM) was founded in 1995, and is the London Stock Exchange's international market for growing companies. More information, and a range of publications and guidance, can be obtained from the official AIM website.

FTSE TechMark
The FTSE techMARK 100 and the FTSE techMARK All-Share indices were created in October 1999 following the launch of the new technology market, techMARK. Further specifications, ground rules and the constituents are available from FTSE techMARK Index Series, whilst more general information on the market is available from the London Stock Exchange: techMARK web page.
