FEE SME/SMP Congress.

Think Ahead on Small and Mid-Sized Business Opportunities and Tools for the Accountancy Profession, Copenhagen

Date: 3-5 September 2008

Organised by the Federation of European Accountants (FEE) and the Nordic Federation of Public Accountants (NRF), this Congress will address a wide spectrum of subjects in the accounting and auditing profession which will be of interest to Small and Medium-Sized Practices and Enterprises.

The quality of speakers is outstanding with many senior figures from the European Commission and the European accountancy profession addressing the event.

ICAEW staff and volunteers will be speaking at the Conference, including Dr Martin Manuzi, Director of ICAEW’s EU office, discussing the FEE study on transnational organisations and practices within the accountancy profession and Henry Irving, Head of the Audit and Assurance Faculty, speaking on alternatives to audits for small businesses.

Members should remember that attendance at the Congress could count towards CPD if it is relevant to their current role.
