Financing Change

Financing Change is the ICAEW Corporate Finance Faculty’s thought leadership initiative.

Financing Change aims to advance the economic and social contribution of corporate finance activity by promoting better understanding of the value it can create in and practice in capital markets.

Corporate finance plays a vital role in society because it enables businesses to change and thereby drives overalls economic growth. Because of its prominence corporate finance activity will, and should, attract public attention.

Financing Change will explore three themes:

• Imagination
• Infrastructure
• Information

Each is an essential pre-condition for successful and sustainable corporate finance activity.

Financing change will promote socially responsible corporate finance activity which aligns private and public interest. It will foster inclusive public discussion of corporate finance issues and provide a basis for dialogue between those involved in corporate finance and relevant stakeholders.
