Enterprise Survey Report 2008

Opportunities and threats facing businesses across the globe 

For the first time this year, the Enterprise Survey has expanded its reach further than the UK to include the views of chartered accountants working in the remainder of the EU, the Far East (Hong Kong, Singapore and Malaysia) and US.

The survey paints a unique detailed picture of how UK businesses of all sizes, in all regions and all sectors – as well as their counterparts across the globe – have felt the impact of the more than a year-long credit crunch, turbulence in financial markets, changes in global commodity prices and the effects of changes in consumer demand coupled with major exchange rate movements.

Both the Global Enterprise Report and the UK Enterprise Report (now in its twelfth year) tackle the attitudes of business of all sizes - in and outside of the UK - towards:
