Corporate Finance qualification (CFq)
The Corporate Finance qualification (CFq) has been developed by the ICAEW in partnership with the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants (CICA). It is a two part programme, diploma and advanced diploma, designed to develop your analytical skills and technical knowledge of corporate finance, through education and work experience.
The Corporate Finance qualification (CFq) gives you the opportunity to gain a highly regarded and widely recognised qualification. Those who acquire the qualification may use the letters CF after their name.
The programme aims:
- to provide a practically grounded, transactions-orientated, international qualification in corporate finance
- increasing knowledge and skill requirements of corporate finance practitioners
- to enhance the scope and depth of knowledge and skills of corporate finance professionals

Within the UK and Europe, our select provider BPP Professional Education offer a variety of flexible tuition programmes to help students prepare for the March and September examinations.
Exams
The CFq comprises of two core stages: the Diploma stage and Advanced Diploma stage.
Work experience
Practical work experience is integral to gaining the CFq. To successfully complete the qualification, students must have at least three years experience of working in corporate finance.
