Mark Protherough, director learning & professional development & head of operations
Mark Protherough is Head of Operations and Director Learning and Professional Development. He is responsible for the development and implementation of the ACA qualification, as well as the operation of the other qualifications offered by ICAEW.
Prior to joining ICAEW, Mark was Managing Director - Education Training and Development at the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, where he had substantial international experience.
Mark is married with 5 children (ages from 2 -23) and enjoys tennis and the gym.
He has an MBA from Henley Management College and an MA.
