North American entry requirements - Intermediate Stage
The CF qualification is open to all corporate finance professionals, irrespective of the professional qualifications and memberships you may currently hold. You can come from any corporate finance industry sector, such as banking, accountancy, law, private equity and consulting.
This is suitable for:
- Newly qualified graduates with at least 1 year of practical experience in corporate finance
Tuition programme
The study method combines independent study with intensive on-site interactive sessions designed to bring complex concepts to life. The course is highly practical and draws upon real life corporate finance case studies that require delegates to work together to come up with practical solutions.
The course is lead by CF practitioners with high-level experience and superb platform skills who can offer practical advice, proven approaches and a vast body of knowledge.

How to Study
Your tutor will provide you with learning materials that are tailored to the syllabus requirements.
These will provide opportunities to:
- learn in a manner that offers transaction exposure from the outset
- develop an understanding for the “real life” case centred approach
- integrate both principles and practice via the use of text materials and transaction-model development
- reinforce learning and review progress through self-evaluation and assessment
The learning materials are designed to be relevant to practitioners and as such will also be a useful reference source in the workplace.
Study time required
The amount of preparation time required for the Intermediate Stage varies for each individual, however you should plan to spend approximately 150 – 200 hours of study time to complete this stage.
