Applying for an e-assessment

The computer-based CFAB assessments are available all year round. You can apply for and book an e-assessment at a time suitable for you and/or your employer, subject to availability at the approved test centre. 

Assessments are taken at approved test centres (PDF 23KB/3 pages) or through the Pearson Vue network.

Booking your e-assessment with Pearson

If you are booking through the Pearson website you will need to sign in. Your Pearson Username and Password are both ‘ICAEW’ followed by your student number (eg ICAEW1234567).

You will then be prompted to change your password for security, but your username will remain the same.

Cost of e-assessment modules

Each e-assessment module costs £60 (including local taxes).

Results

Results are available from the ICAEW website the day after you take the assessment

On your results page you will be able to forward an electronic copy of any result to your employer.

Once you’ve passed all the assessments you will be sent a certificate.
