The International Accounting Standards Board (IASB) provides free access to the full text of the IFRS for SMEs along with the basis for conclusions, illustrative financial statements presentation and disclosure checklist (you will need to register to gain access).

ASB seeks views on proposals for the future reporting requirements for UK and Irish entities – ASB press release (PN 346) issued on 11 August 2009 with details of a proposal to implement IFRS for SMEs in the place of existing UK Financial Reporting Standards. The consultation paper Policy Proposal: the future of UK GAAP is available to download from the ASB website.
