ACA training in Mauritius

The ACA is widely regarded as a premium qualification in Mauritius.
Exams for the full ACA programme are now available on the island. Classes are planned for Spring 2010.

Minimum entry requirements

The majority of students joining the ACA programme are graduates. However, if you are a school leaver with the equivalent of 220 UCAS points or more, you are eligible to study the ACA.

Credit for prior learning (exemptions)

Members of other accounting institutes may gain credits for a number of modules. You may also be awarded credit based on you degree.

Higher education institutions (HEIs)

We award credit for prior learning (CPL) to higher education institutions (HEIs) that can demonstrate that they meet our learning outcomes for one or more of our ACA modules within their programmes.

Authorised training employers (ATE)

Students can either study the ACA under a training contract with an ICAEW authorised training employer or as an independent student. Independent students should be aware that in order to qualify, they must complete 450 days of technical work experience and this can only be obtained under a training contract with an ICAEW authorised training employer.
