The new ICAEW South East members' forum
ICAEW South East is seeking the views of members: a great opportunity to hear from Kent County Council’s Economic Development and Regeneration Strategy Team, and share your opinions.
On Tuesday 2 October the first in a series of new format meetings around the region is being held at Bradbourne House, near Maidstone. The aim of the event (free for ICAEW members) is to update local members on the future development plans of Kent County Council, and also to enable members to discuss and share views on these plans and the implications for the regional economy and businesses.
The speakers at the meeting will be David Smith and Johanna Howarth, who lead the economic development and regeneration strategy team at Kent County Council, advising on policies and initiatives which will achieve the council's objectives and contribute to economic growth in Kent.
The District Society Committee is also extremely keen to hear the views of members on initiatives and events that you would like to see provided by your District Society going forwards - to ensure that your Society is fulfilling your needs.
The event is a great opportunity for members to hear about plans and developments that will directly affect both businesses and practices going forwards, and to put forward opinions and suggestions.
The venue is the beautiful Bradbourne House, a Tudor Grade I listed building, set in 20 acres of beautiful parkland in the village of East Malling, near Maidstone, just five minutes from Junction 4 of the M20.
