It's good to talk - ICAEW support member volunteers are here to help you
We’re living in a rapidly changing world and having to adapt our lives dramatically whilst we all cope with the covid-19 pandemic.
There’s a lot of information given to us daily through the media and plenty of advice available online. From guidance on the challenges of working from home to online exercise classes, we are being bombarded with suggestions and advice on how to manage.
Sometimes, however what we really want is just to talk to someone. ICAEW support member volunteers are here to help you. They are at the end of the phone and you can talk to them about anything that’s on your mind. The service is completely free, confidential and non-judgemental.
So if you’re anxious, are having problems at home or at work, or are just feeling isolated do contact a support member. They aren’t experts, and they may suggest you also contact specialist personal, professional or medical services, but they will always provide a sympathetic listening ear and that is often just what we need. It’s good to talk!
Your local support member in Scotland is Shelah Dutta.
