ICAEW South West Charity Zoom Comedy Gig with Jo Caulfield (6th May)

Published: 01 Apr 2021

Details of a forthcoming live comedy event for ICAEW South West members.

As many of you will be aware, the committee recently had to take the difficult decision to cancel all plans for a face-to-face annual dinner in 2021. This is such a shame as we were unable to meet in 2020 either and were so looking forward to getting together this year.

However, this left us with a booking with Comedian Jo Caulfield to use and we wanted to give members something to look forward to before Summer.

Therefore, we are very excited to announce that on the 6th May from 8 – 9PM the district society will be hosting a live comedy gig on Zoom. The comedy will be provided by Jo Caulfield, a regular on “Have I Got News For You”, “Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow” and Radio 4’s “Just a Minute”.

The event is FREE - a link to the event can be obtained by emailing Trudi.coles@icaw.com or booking online:

The event is open to all ICAEW members & students within ICAEW South West.

While the event is FREE, we would encourage everyone to donate to our chosen charity, the Trussell Trust. They work tirelessly to ensure that no-one in the UK goes hungry and we would be very grateful if everyone reading this – and particularly those coming to the gig – could contribute a few pounds to supporting the Foodbanks that the Trussell Trust organises.

If you can give, please visit the district’s just giving page:

We have already raised over £600 from members in the South West and I would love to see that total increase before my time as president ends.

I hope lots of you will be able to join us on 6th May, and as numbers are limited to 100 please book your place ASAP to avoid disappointment.
