ICAEW Business Advice Service launches app
Recognising its greatest strength is in its members and community, ICAEW Business Advice Service (BAS) has launched a mobile app to help its advocates share business content on Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook.
ICAEW BAS has launched a new, free mobile app for iOS and Android where members can access daily business content to share on their social networks. Each share via Twitter, LinkedIn or Facebook automatically carries the @ICAEW_BAS handle to increase brand presence, while supporters benefit from daily, relevant business content to raise their profile as thought leaders.
Recognising the potential in social media advocacy to drive awareness and sales for its members, ICAEW BAS is launching the mobile app to make sure its SME content is available wherever, however and whenever members and their community want to access it.
Clive Lewis, ICAEW Head of Enterprise, says: “This new app makes it easier for members to share content via their mobiles whether during a quick break at work, on their morning commute or between meetings. Awareness drives leads which drives sales and we want to do as much as possible to support our members and their clients.”
For ICAEW BAS, social media advocacy isn’t just about likes - members and employees can make a significant difference in communicating brand messages authentically. According to LinkedIn’s Official Guide to Employee Advocacy, when employees share content, it’s perceived as three times more authentic than company messages and typically see a click-through rate (CTR) that is two times higher than company shares of the same content.
